The crossover comes with a 3.3uF capacitor, and a 1.5mH choke for use with the DIY HA15.1 woofer, and the LDA1001 tweeter. This crossover makes use of Fahnstock clamps so there is no soldering required to swap out inductors or capacitors, you simply push down and remove the lead to the cap or inductor and insert the new component.

The Fahnestock clamps are spaced very wide apart to accommodate larger foil capacitors which we anticipate most people will use. If you want you can either extend the leads of the parts by soldering on some extension pieces, or you can simply unscrew one of the Fahnestock clamps and move them closer together to allow whatever capacitor or inductor you want to use, we left enough wire on the clamps to allow for this. This crossover will give you all the basic building blocks to use to tailor your crossover by hot-swapping parts, both in the electronic values and with different-sized parts.
